Chinese app store enabler App Store Connect announced a “strategic partnership” with Tencent Mobile Security, which will see it using Tencent’s app security testing and certification service to provide customers with assurance that products “have been thoroughly checked and are safe for download onto their mobile devices.” The companies will also promote the QQ Phone Manager app to provide security for smartphone users.
