Analytics firm Apmetrix released two SDKs supporting Apple’s tvOS and watchOS devices to provide publishers with “a deeper understanding of their user’s behaviour across all platforms”.

Apmetrix’s CEO, Lee Jacobson, said that “with tremendous growth expected for the Apple TV and Watch in the coming years, we wanted to ensure our solution supports these devices so that clients are able to access deep user insights regardless of source.”

The SDKs allow publishers to track user interaction, duration of events, purchases made with real currency, virtual in-game items and currencies, and offers cross-device app tracking.

These SDKs work in conjunction with Apmetrix’s data management and analytics platform, which can help companies automate data collection from third party data sources and engage users via unlimited push notifications and messages.

At its recent event, Apple said its TV set-top box has more than 5,000 apps.
