App development platform player Appizon has upgraded its mobile app building platform for businesses, meaning developers can theoretically build business apps in less than an hour.

The Florida-based company’s technology works by taking existing website content and repurposing it for an app or mobile website.

Called Scrapper, it allows business to customise iPhone and Android apps and to incorporate in-app messaging, GPS directions, contact forms, social media integration, information lists, premium design templates and one-touch direct calling.

This approach means companies can build apps quickly and cheaply – businesses can launch native apps using Scrapper for US$59 per month.
