App analytics player Leanplum secured $825,000 in seed funding, to build a service that will provide developers with information that will enable them to optimise their apps.
Founded by former Google employees, the San Franciso-based company provides optimisation tests and real-time analytics for app developers.
Leanplum says it helps users avoid the guesswork brought about by the time-consuming nature of iterative app testing by allowing them to test functionality on-the-fly. Developers can test look and feel, game mechanics or promotions.
“Leanplum is solving an acute pain point for mobile app companies. Our technology makes it simple to continuously optimise mission-critical metrics such as user acquisition, retention, and monetisation,” said Momchil Kyurkchiev, Leanplum CEO.
The funding comes from TechStars, Kima Ventures, VoiVoda Ventures along with several individual investors.
