App monetisation player Tapjoy said its mobile advertising and publishing network has now reached 1 billion devices globally.
The company said mobile users have chosen to engage with Tapjoy at “an incredible rate” to access premium content for their apps, with more than 500 million new devices added to the network in the past eight months.
“As our advertiser and developer partnerships continue to grow, this number will continue to skyrocket and further cement Tapjoy as the global leader in mobile app discovery and monetisation,” said Tapjoy president and CEO Steve Wadsworth.
Of the 100 million unique viewers on the Tapjoy network each month, 75 percent were from outside the US.
Illustrating the amount of potential that the rest of the world offers, Tapjoy connected with 44 million mobile devices in China in July, equivalent to just 3 percent of the population.
