European operator Tele2 announced as many as six new partnerships in the M2M/IoT space as it bids to beef up its implementation of services in the Benelux region.

In a statement, the company said it had signed up a number of new local partners over the last couple of months, as well as strengthened its own presence in the region to “even better meet the increasing demand for M2M/IoT implementations”.

Among the new partners include RedSalt, a local systems integrator partner, IoT specialist Giant Leap Technologies, MobileTrack, IoT distributor MultiCap, field service outsourcing partner Service Cruiser and AVIC, a company specialising in niche IoT solutions.

Rami Avidan, commercial director at Tele2 M2M, said the partnerships will help the company “make it simpler and quicker for customers to roll-out the solutions in scale”.

“By integrating and partnering with the best of breed local partners in the region, we make sure that our customers get qualitative solutions tailored to their specific needs,” he said. “The Benelux area is one of our focus regions, and these activities further increase our growth in the area.”

Tele2 has been busy bolstering its proposition for IoT since last year, and announced a deal in January to partner with Dutch player Aerea, adding to its growing number of partnerships in the space.
