Letv adopted the LeEco brand, as it looks to move into India with two devices it describes as “flagship smartphones”.

The company will offer Le 1s exclusively via Flipkart from 2 February for INR10,999 ($162). This will be followed on 16 February by Le Max, which has a 21MP camera and 2K display, again available via Flipkart for INR32,999 (64GB storage) or INR36,999 (128GB).

It also announced a content partnership with ErosNow, which was described as “one of India’s leading on-demand Bollywood entertainment networks”.

According to The Indian Express, LeEco has opened more than 500 service centres in India to provide after-sales support, offering full-time customer service in a number of local languages.
