Discovery company Mimvi submitted an iOS version of its search and recommendation app, Mimvi App Search, to Apple for approval.

Mimvi launched a Windows Phone 8 version of the app in November, and CEO Michael Poutre reiterated the company’s intention to launch an Android version in the future.

Poutre said the submission of the iOS app is in line with Mimvi’s product plan, which gives Windows Phone 30-days of exclusivity ahead of other platforms.

Mimvi announced in September that it had partnered with Microsoft to develop products and services to complement Windows Phone 8 and the Windows Azure cloud computing platform.
